Florida’s 2026 Hunting, Fishing, and Camping Sales Tax Holiday is now live. From September 1 through December 31, 2026, qualifying hunting items can be purchased exempt from Florida sales tax — including firearm sights and optics.

  • Ammunition

  • Firearms

  • Firearm accessories, including sights and optics

  • Bows and crossbows

  • Bow and crossbow accessories, including arrows, bolts, quivers, releases, sights and wristguards

  • Camping and fishing supplies, subject to applicable price limits

What This Means for ARKEN Customers

ARKEN rifle scopes fall under Florida’s “sights or optics” category, so you can purchase a qualifying ARKEN optic without paying Florida sales tax during the holiday period. And unlike certain camping and fishing items, there is no price cap for qualifying sights and optics.
