True 1x to 6x Versatility with a Forgiving Eyebox

Featuring a true 1x magnification with an ultra-wide field of view (133.5 ft @100 yd) and generous 3.7 in eye relief, the LH-6 provides a forgiving eyebox for rapid, close-range target acquisition. At 6x (21.2 ft @100 yd), it adds the precision and reach needed for mid-range shooting.

Illuminated KLBOX BDC Reticle for High-Speed Shooting

The KLBOX BDC is an SFP reticle that maintains a consistent appearance throughout the 1–6x magnification range, with an illuminated center for fast target acquisition at 1x.

Designed for common 5.56 and 7.62 cartridges, its BDC holdovers are calibrated for 6x, with integrated wind and moving-target hold points for fast, confident shooting.

Disclaimer pertaining to "Leveled and Installed" Optics

While these optics come from the factory mounted and leveled, final zeroing and leveling to the receiver may still be necessary. The rings may or may not be fully torqued, and no Loctite has been applied to the screws. Leveling can shift during shipping or handling. Users should ensure the scope is properly mounted and leveled before use. Final zeroing is the responsibility of the shooter. Variations in ammunition, environmental conditions, and individual shooting posture may affect point of impact. After your first range session, check that all mounting hardware is secure.

FAQs

Q1. Is the ARKEN LH-6 1-6x24 a good fit for an AR-15?

+ -

Yes. The ARKEN LH-6 1-6x24 SFP LPVO is well suited to AR-15 shooters who need fast target acquisition at close range and added magnification for identifying and engaging targets at 300–500 yards. Its true 1x magnification and illuminated horseshoe reticle support fast target acquisition in close-quarters battle (CQB), while the 6x setting and KLBOX BDC reticle provide holdover references for longer shots with common 5.56 and 7.62 cartridges. Its nitrogen-purged, shock-resistant construction is built for field use and helps maintain zero under recoil.

Note: BDC holdovers are calibrated for use at 6x. For holdover references usable across the magnification range, consider the EP-8 1-8x28 FFP LPVO.

Q2. Red Dot vs. LPVO for an AR-15: how do I choose?

+ -

The best choice depends on your shooting needs. A red dot is typically lighter and simpler for close-range shooting. An LPVO like the ARKEN LH-6 1-6x24 SFP offers similar 1x usability, with a forgiving eyebox to support fast target acquisition, plus magnification for better target identification and more aiming references at mid-range. Its 6x top end adds flexibility for longer shots, making it a practical option if you want one optic for both close-range speed and mid-range versatility. The trade-off is added weight and a more involved setup compared with a typical red dot.

Q3. ARKEN LH-6 1-6x24 SFP vs. EP-8 1-8x28 FFP: What’s the Difference?

+ -

The ARKEN LH-6 1-6x24 SFP and EP-8 1-8x28 FFP are designed for different shooting priorities, with differences in optical performance, magnification, reticle design, and overall size and weight.

The LH-6 features Japanese HD Glass and a second focal plane KLBOX reticle. It measures 10.6 inches, weighs 20.2 oz, and costs $199.99 with code ARKEN.

The EP-8 offers greater magnification, Japanese ED Glass, and a first focal plane KLGRID reticle. It is slightly shorter at 10.3 inches, weighs 21.0 oz, and costs $299.99 with code ARKEN.

Choose the LH-6 for a lightweight setup focused on close- to mid-range shooting. Choose the EP-8 if you want greater magnification and holdover references that remain consistent across the magnification range.

For a more detailed comparison, see the ARKEN LH-6 vs. EP-8 comparison page.

Q4. What’s Included in the ARKEN LH-6 1-6x24 LPVO Bundle, and Is It Worth It?

+ -

The ARKEN LH-6 1-6x24 SFP LPVO Bundle combines the optic with essential accessories, helping you save on separate purchases and avoid the hassle of finding compatible components. It includes a factory-installed and leveled Rigid Precision Mount to simplify setup, an integrated throw lever for easier magnification changes, flip-up lens covers to help protect the lenses, and turret caps to help protect the adjustments from accidental contact. At $199.99 with code ARKEN, the LH-6 bundle is an accessible option for shooters looking for a complete LPVO setup.
